lehiatzen dira, arma zuri batekin elkar ukitzea da kontua (armak ez du ahorik ez puntarik; hau da, ezin da ebakirik eta zulaturik egin), eta hiru modalitate bereizten dira: &nbsp;sablea, ezpata eta floretea. Hitza &#8220;esgrimir&#8221; aditzetik dator, eta hori germanierako&nbsp;<em>skermjan<\/em>&nbsp;aditzetik; kopondu edo babestu adierazten du. &nbsp;Jokalariei \u201ctiratzaile\u201d deitzen zaie. Armak tiratzaile bat ukitzen duenean, aurkariak puntu bat irabazten du. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Hauxe da definizioa: &#8221; Defentsa eta erasorako artea, ezpata, florete edo antzeko arma batekin\u201d. &nbsp;Eskrima modernoa denbora pasako eta lehiaketako kirola da, baina jatorrian garatu ziren arauekin eta teknikekin jarraitzen da, borrokaldietan ezpata modu eragingarrian erabiltzeko.<\/p><p>Modalitate honetako federazioari transferitutako
